Help make strides fighting heart disease by taking part in the Eastern South Dakota Heart Walk.  Registration for this fundraiser for the American Heart Association gets underway at 8:30 a.m. at Falls Park West.  An opening ceremony starts at 9:40 a.m. The walk begins at 10 a.m.  Participants can walk a one or three mile route.

Enjoy an evening of live music, food, art and even canoeing during Downtown Riverfest. The free event goes from 4-11 p.m. at the Downtown Riverfront Amphitheater located between 6th & 8th Streets.   The musical lineup includes Mrs. Begley & The Boys at 4:30,  the Fattenin’ Frogs at 6:30 and 4onthefloor at 8:45 p.m.

Archery Outfitters is hosting a 3D Outdoor Fun Shoot this weekend.  Today’s hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Sunday’s hours are 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Admission is $15 for adults, $12 for children, $5 for ages nine years and younger.  Archery Outfitters is located at 1811 N. Lowell Avenue in Sioux Falls.  

You’re invited to navigate the 11 acre tiger design at Heartland Country Corn Maze on Highway 11 south of Harrisburg.  Hours are from noon to 9 p.m.  Admission is $8 for adults, $5 for children, free for kids four and under

Two koalas on loan from the San Diego Zoo are on exhibit at the Great Plains Zoo through Labor Day.  Today’s hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  The cost is a zoo admission.

While you’re at the zoo, enjoy story-time and an animal encounter at the Bookworms Reading Program.  The program begins at 1 p.m. in the KELOLAND Education Center.

The Bridges at 57th Street is hosting Dog Days of Summer every Saturday through the end of the month.  Customers are invited to bring their leashed dogs for a day of shopping, relaxing and even dining together at the retail center located at 57th and Western.

Tonight’s free Moonlight Movie in downtown Sioux Falls is the 2016 version of The Jungle Book, rated PG.  The movie begins at dusk.

The Canaries baseball team takes on the Salina Stockade at Sioux Falls Stadium.  First pitch is at 6:05 p.m.  

The Hillbilly Junkin’ Jamboree features local crafters, artisans, food and live music from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Crooks Community Center.

Ben Clare Church in Valley Springs, SD  is hosting an Ice Cream Social from 5:30 to 7 p.m.  A free-will offering will be taken.
