If you’re doing some shopping out in Rapid City over the next few days and see a lot of law enforcement at the Rushmore Mall, don’t worry.
The Rapid City Fire Department will be doing drills at the mall starting Wednesday and lasting through Friday. If you go to the mall, you might see firefighters in full protective gear performing simulated rescues of downed firefighters.
But there’s nothing to worry about and the fire department says it shouldn’t affect shoppers.
The drills will be in an empty part of the mall between the Food Court and Planet Fitness.
