Melanie Weiss is an eye doctor is Watertown. She became addicted to painkillers after a series of surgeries.

“I think we all still feel like addiction is for those people that are not put together; they don’t have any drive in life; they don’t have any goals; and that is so far from the truth,” Weiss said.

Tuesday, we’re looking at where Weiss is today and the message she has for others.
