With just a week left to election day, donations keep flooding in for both gubernatorial candidates.
Last week KELOLAND News showed you the campaign finance reports for Republican Kristi Noem and Democrat Billie Sutton.
Between May 17 and October 17, Noem raised $2.2 million. During the same time period, Sutton raised nearly $1.4 million.
Since October 17, Noem has received another $928,043 in donations. Meanwhile Sutton has raised $606,850 since filing his campaign finance report.
One of the biggest contributors to Noem’s campaign is the Republican Governor’s Association Right Direction PAC, which has given her $1.1 million.
As for Sutton, his biggest contributions have come from Democratic Action, which donated $375,000 and the Cowboy Caucus PAC which donated $35,855.
