SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Among the decisions for South Dakota voters in this general election is selecting who will fill one of the state’s seats in the U.S. Senate.
KELOLAND News invited Republican Senator Mike Rounds and his challenger Democrat Dan Ahlers to join us for a debate. Rounds’ office was initially concerned it could conflict with his work in the U.S. Senate. We delayed the debate in hopes that the Senate would have a break ahead of the election, which it did. But Rounds’ campaign again declined our invitation.
Instead of a conversation between the two candidates, we’re asking questions sent in from viewers to Dan Ahlers in this KELOLAND News Special Report.
