Sioux Falls Mayor Paul TenHaken, Governor Kristi Noem and Senator John Thune held a press conference Saturday morning to address the flood damage in the area.
Mayor TenHaken stressed the importantance of patience right now with the cleanup effort across the city.
Senator Thune accessed the damage across Sioux Falls for the first time Saturday. Sen. Thune said that based on what he saw, he think it will be awhile before the trail system is available.
Governor Noem advises people to now start documenting the flood damage to their property. Gov. Noem says there is a chance counties could receive some FEMA funds.
