SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) A new restaurant-bar chain is coming to southern Sioux Falls.
Tavern 180 will be located at Prairie Hills Galleria near 69th Street and Western Avenue.
The Nebraska-based restaurant-bar describes itself as a modern venue offering American dishes with global flair and a classy cocktail bar.
Along with the expansion, Sioux Falls-based investment firm Crescent Capital Holdings has taken an equity position in the company.
“We are incredibly delighted and honored to be a part of such a reputable restaurant with a highly talented and experienced management team,” Crescent Capital President Kevin Tupy said in a news release.
Tavern 180 has three additional locations in Iowa and Nebraska. It hopes to open the Sioux Falls gastropub this summer.
It will occupy about 3,000 square feet as one of five retail spaces on the first floor of The Galleria, which is under construction.
“We have been so happy with the leasing interest in The Galleria. The second floor is full, and we only have one 2,092-square-foot space left on the first. We expect to announce additional tenants in the coming weeks,” said Raquel Blount, vice president of commercial real estate at Lloyd Cos., who represents The Galleria.
ART Vision, ARTisan Skin and Laser Center and Goosmann Law Firm have already announced locations at the new development.
