This week brought a big milestone in the railyard redevelopment project in Downtown Sioux Falls.
But that project still needs city council approval to go forward.
On Tuesday, council members heard about the plans and what two phases of the development would look like.
Councilors asked a number of questions during the meeting.
We talked to City Councilor Greg Neitzert to get his thoughts following the meeting.
“The proposal is outstanding, it will have a lot of harmony with the existing uses and its going to get all of those things that we wanted. We wanted common space, we wanted a lot of density, we wanted them to go up not out, we wanted a lot of different things and this development really gets there,” Neitzert said.
No action was taken at last nights meeting, however a vote is expected sometime next month.
