Gov. Walz calls for another special session of Minnesota legislature

ST. PAUL, MN (KELO) — Lawmakers will gather again in Minnesota for another special session related to the coronavirus.

Governor Tim Walz on Friday announced he’s convening the special session for next Wednesday.
Walz is calling on lawmakers to vote on extending the COVID-19 peacetime emergency by 30 days to address the pandemic.

It will be the third special session held by the Minnesota legislature this year.
