From Christians to Buddhists and Jewish to Muslim, people of all faiths are gathering this weekend in Sioux Falls.
The multi-faith candlelight prayer vigil will be on Sunday from 4 to 5 p.m. at the Mount Zion Synagogue.
“We see all the hate and anger and fear out there in the United States and around the world. We wanted to do something to pull all the different religions together because we are brothers and sisters. We live together. We play together. We work together,“ Multi-Cultural Center Executive Director Christy Nicolaisen said.
The organizers plan to hold two other similar vigils this year — one in June and the other in September.
