Minnesota Man Arrested In Brookings Had Nearly $50,000 Of Meth

A Minnesota man is in a South Dakota jail cell Tuesday — accused of bringing almost $50,000 worth of meth across state lines.

Undercover agents caught up with 30-year old Kevin Jenson, earlier this month outside a Brookings motel.

Federal court papers say Jenson had $9,000 in his pocket and 6.5 pounds of meth in his vehicle.

Authorities say Jenson also had a gram of cocaine, a gram of heroin and several pills.

Jenson has a history of drug arrests and convictions in Minnesota.
