Men Arrested During Sting For Sexual Predators At Stugis Rally

News is gone, but that’s not stopping predators from targeting kids.

An undercover sting during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally landed six men in jail.

And newly unsealed federal court papers include apps and a website parents should know about.

After a look at the suspects, they range in age from 20-to-55 years old. They’re charged with attempted enticement of a minor. If found guilty, there’s a minimum 10 year sentence.

The men are listed in a press release as Robert Bungert of Sturgis, Zam Mung of Rapid City, Jeremiah Stertz of Yankton, Paul Heib of Rapid City, Connor Harmon of Sturgis, and Adam Myosky of Port Clinton, Ohio.

Court documents say the men used apps including Skout, Grindr, and MeetMe to talk with undercover agents.

The investigators were posing as 14 and 15 year old kids. Two of the suspects responded to ads on the City-X-Guide website.
