Winter gear placed on statues in Rapid City to help the homeless

People in Rapid City are making the season brighter.

According to the National Alliance to End Homelessness, over 1,000 people in South Dakota are homeless.

That’s why people in Rapid City are placing winter gear on the president statues in the downtown area.

This allows people in need to get warm scarves, mittens, or hats.
