People in KELOLAND continue to clean up from recent snowfall Friday. With more snow expected to fall this weekend, how is the City of Sioux Falls enforcing snow removal polices?
KELOLAND’s Perry Groten is looking into the issue and talking with city leaders about what people need to do to remove snow and ice from their property.
According to the City of Sioux Falls website, “city ordinances require the owner or person in possession of any property abutting on any sidewalk to keep the sidewalk free from snow and ice, and to remove any snow or ice from the sidewalk within 48 hours after the termination of any snow fall, snow, or ice accumulation.”
