WATERTOWN, S.D. (KELO) — A Watertown day care provider says she’s not guilty of killing a child in her care.

Amanda Walder is charged with murder and manslaughter in the death of 17-month-old Liam Koistinen.
She entered a not guilty plea yesterday in court.

Police were called to Walder’s in-home day care in July for an unconscious child. He later died of his injuries.

Walder initially told investigators it was possible she accidentally hit the toddler’s head on a bed frame.
