Voters to decide fate of $26M bond issue in Vermillion School District

VERMILLION, S.D. (KELO) — Voters in the Vermillion School District are at the polls Tuesday afternoon.

They’re deciding whether to approve a $26 million bond issue to pay for a new elementary school and improvements to the current middle school.

District officials say the current elementary schools are at capacity and the district’s buildings are aging.
Polls are open until 7 p.m.
