South Dakota’s two biggest universities are canceling classes because of the extreme cold weather on Tuesday and Wednesday.
South Dakota State University in Brookings is closing campus at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, will be closed Wednesday, and re-open at noon on Thursday.
The University of South Dakota announced Tuesday morning all classes on Tuesday and Wednesday would be canceled and the campus would re-open at 8 a.m. on Thursday.
