SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Sometimes those campus reports lead to arrests and criminal charges.

Last December, authorities arrested Mihai Carcoana on rape and interfering with emergency communications charges.

Carcoana was a member of the USD basketball team.

His case continues to make its way through court and his next hearing is scheduled for next month.

Carcoana pleaded not guilty to the charges.
