Sioux Falls police provided more about a reverse prostitution operation that led to two arrests on Monday.
Two female officers with the Sioux Falls Police Department went undercover and put ads online. The officers got more than 100 calls and texts from people who said they were interested.
But only two different men agreed to meet them at a hotel in Sioux Falls.
When each man got there Monday, police arrested them for hiring for sexual activity.
Police say they haven’t done a reverse prostitution operation like this for a few years, but say they’ll be doing more in the future.
Two men are facing charges after allegedly looking to pay someone for sex.
On Monday, police conducted a reverse prostitution operation. A 53-year old man from Sioux Center, Iowa and 55-year old man from Inwood, Iowa were arrested.
The Sioux Falls Police Department will continue with these operations in an effort to help combat Human Trafficking and Prostitution.
