Two hurt in Sioux Falls shooting

Local News

SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO) — Two people were hurt in an overnight shooting in northeast Sioux Falls.

Police responded to the 900 block of North Cliff Avenue just before 9:30 p.m. Friday where a confrontation in a parking lot led to shots-fired.

An adult and a juvenile were taken to the hospital.  Police say both people are expected to recover.

The investigation then led authorities to First and Fairfax where officers, including the SWAT team, surrounded a house.  They served a search warrant and detained people inside for questioning.
