SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The abduction of 11-year-old Jacob Wetterling in 1989 hit close to home for many in the upper midwest.
Now, a few years after a man confessed to killing Wetterling, a new documentary is shedding light on the investigation.
There is a trailer-release party in Sioux Falls on Monday. In addition to sharing a look at the Jacob Wetterling documentary, the event is also a fundraiser for it.
The director of the documentary is set to be there; hear his take on the movie, the effort behind it and how you can contribute on the NightBeat on KELOLAND News at 10.
