Traffic congestion from trucking protest possible on I-29 Thursday morning

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Authorities are warning about possible traffic congestion on Interstate 29 south of Sioux Falls Thursday morning. 

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office asked drivers to be mindful of a truck convoy leaving the Canton exit at 7 a.m. Thursday. The truck convoy will be driving at or near the minimum speed limit en route to Pierre to protest upcoming federal legislation and issues facing the trucking industry.
