Teenager Facing Disorderly Conduct For BB Gun Incident

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - A 15-year-old is in trouble with authorities for allegedly pointing a BB gun at someone.

Police were called to the Kuehn Park Community Center, near Roosevelt High School, around 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Officers say a witness called 911.

"Had a mom show up to pick up her child and saw this guy point it at somebody else. The report doesn't have a whole lot of details, but it ended up being a BB gun. She thought it was a real gun initially and called police," Sioux Falls Police Public Information Officer Sam Clemens said.

The 15-year-old was charged with disorderly conduct.  He was later released to his parents.
