PIERRE, S.D. (KELO) — The South Dakota House of Representatives voted to ban the at-home cultivation of medical marijuana Monday afternoon.
The House voted 41-29 to ban the practice that was passed by South Dakota voters in November of 2020 when IM 26, which set a minimum of three homegrown plants possible per medical cannabis cardholder.
HB 1004 will now go to the Senate.
