Snow creating problems on roads for many South Dakota counties

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KELO) — Wet, heavy, October snow is already creating issues for many South Dakota counties. 

Some areas have already received more than 6 inches of snow. Authorities in Pennington County, as well as Perkins County, Walworth County and Potter County are reminding drivers to slow down and drive cautiously.

Roads are slippery and there are many icy areas while snow continues to fall. If you are out this morning slow way down, be patient and give yourself extra travel time.
