Sioux Falls St. Patrick’s Day Parade cancelled

Local News

The Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce has announced that the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade has been cancelled.

Chamber president and CEO Jeff Griffin said the decision came after consulting with the city. The press release states that as cases of COVID-19 continue to appear across the nation, parade organizers wanted to do their part to slow its spread.

The parade was scheduled to take place Saturday in downtown Sioux Falls.
