SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — They are mainstays for big cities like New York City, Denver and Minneapolis. This summer, for the first-time ever, an LGBTQ Pride Parade is coming to downtown Sioux Falls.

On Wednesday, the Sioux Falls Pride organization announced to KELOLAND News it is adding a parade to its annual June festival.

The parade is on Phillips Avenue on Saturday, June 15.

Coming up later today on KELOLAND News, we’re talking with some of the organizers about how many years it took to make this happen.
