Sioux Falls man accused of biting finger of Minnesota corrections officer

Local News

WORTHINGTON, MN (Associated Press) — A Sioux Falls man is facing charges after allegedly biting the finger of a corrections officer during a scuffle at the Nobles County Jail in Worthington, Minnesota.

According to the complaint, the corrections staff entered Nicholas Bryson’s cell last week after he was uncooperative about moving to another area of the jail.

Authorities say Bryson then pushed one of the officers to the floor where the two of them wrestled.

The jailer was getting up when Bryson allegedly bit through the officer’s glove.

Bryson is charged with felony assault of a corrections officer.
