UPDATE 9:50 p.m.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Sioux Falls police are investigating an officer-involved shooting.

It happened just before 7 p.m. on Wedensday near the Empire Mall along 41st Street and I-29. Police blocked off the area for a couple of hours.

KELOLAND News’ photographer was at the scene and reported a large police presence near the Red Rock Inn.

In a tweet, police did say they used their drone to help make out the crime scene area.

This incident is still under investigation, but police say there are no injuries.
