UPDATE: Police searching for shots fired suspect

UPDATED 11:13 a.m.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Sioux Falls police are trying to find the people involved in an Sunday night shooting on the east side of the city.

Officer Sam Clemens says four people were walking in the area of 12th Street and Lowell Avenue around 9 p.m.

The victims say a black pick up pulled up to them and several men got out. One of the men reportedly fired a gun several times.

Some people ran away — the man who fired the gun drove off in the truck.

Police say no one was hurt.  Officers found two shell casings in the area.

So far no one has been arrested.

5:40 a.m.

Sioux Falls police are investigating after reports of gunshots in an east central Sioux Falls neighborhood.

Our news crew got video near 12th Street and Lowell Avenue. Officers tell KELOLAND News they found bullet casings on the ground.

We expect to learn more information at Monday’s police briefing.
