SFPD investigating gun shots near Whittier Middle School

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Police gave an update on the house that was shot early Thursday morning. 

The report of gunshots came in at 1 a.m. and police say people were in their home when at least three shots hit the house. According to police, two bullets hit the siding of the house but one bullet went through a window and hit an inside wall.

No one was hurt.

Police say they don’t know who fired the shots.

Sioux Falls police are investigating a case of gun shots where a house was hit.

The call came in around 1 a.m. Thursday near the intersection of 4th street and North Cliff Avenue. That’s just a few blocks from Whittier Middle School.

Officers found several bullet holes in the home but no one inside was hurt.

Right now there’s no word on who fired the shots.

The investigation is ongoing.
