UPDATE: No injuries from garage fire

UPDATED 5:58 a.m.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — There were no injuries from a garage fire in northwestern Sioux Falls Thursday night. 

Sioux Fall Fire Rescue responded to the fire at 3311 West Mulberry Street at 6:20 p.m. Upon arrival, heavy smoke and flames were coming from an attached garage. The home had minor smoke damage and two cars inside the garage had heavy fire and smoke damage. 

Firefighters battled cold temperatures and slippery conditions but got the flames under control in 10 minutes. 

The cause of the fire is under investigation. 

7:37 p.m.

Sioux Falls Fire rescue is investigating a garage fire Thursday night.

The fire happened around 6:30 Thursday night on Mulberry Street, in northwestern Sioux Falls.

A car in the garage at the time was also destroyed. The cause is unknown at this time.
