Several DUI Arrests Over The Weekend In Rapid City

It was a busy weekend for Rapid City police, with several DUI arrests.
The first happened Friday night just before 10 p.m. Officers were called to the intersection of 5th Street and Cathedral Drive for a hit and run. Police arrested 22 year old Dustin Campbell, Officers say they found several open containers.

The second happened Saturday night around 11:30 p.m. Officers were called to the 1200 block of east north street for a rollover. Police found the driver inside the car. Authorities say she was too impaired to be driving. Officers also found a marijuana pipe.

The most recent incident happened Sunday night along the 700 block of Main Street. Police were responding to a report of a stolen vehicle. Officers caught up with the suspect along I-90, but when they pulled the vehicle over, it drove off again. The vehicle then crashed into a sign and rolled.  The 29-year-old suspect was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
