SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A major donation was given today for the South Dakota Symphony Orchestra.
The Orchestra announce a $2 million donation from philanthropist T. Denny Sanford.
The money will help support and grow music education programs for children including the South Dakota Symphony Youth Orchestra.
The Orchestra’s executive director says they are grateful for the gift and calls it an investment in building better students through music.
