Six roads in Wall Lake Township are getting fixed Tuesday thanks to more than three inches of rain overnight.
Glen Shade is the township supervisor. He also lives just east of Wall Lake. Shade says crews are on their way bringing more gravel to help fix the damages. He says it’s been one of the wettest summers he can remember.
“I’ve had just over six inches in less than five days. My wife’s garden has been completely under water all summer. No garden this year,” Shade said.
He thinks it will cost well over $2,000 for new gravel and that doesn’t include the services of a road grader.
