WATERTOWN, S.D. (KELO) — Watertown is preparing for the Big Sioux River to possibly flood this weekend.

The National Weather Service says there is a 90% chance for moderate flooding at the Broadway River Gauge between April 8th and 15th.

Officials are also preparing for flooding at Lake Kampeska.

Over the next few days, city officials will set up large pumps around the lake.
