SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — It was an intense afternoon in a central Sioux Falls neighborhood.

Several patrol cars were in the area near 6th Street and Spring Avenue, which is just a few blocks from the police station.

As of 4 p.m. CT, some of the officers are walking around and they appear to be looking for something or someone. We even spotted an officer looking inside a trash can.
