UPDATE: Police investigating a homicide at Sioux Falls gas station

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Sioux Falls police are investigating a stabbing at a gas station in the area of Russell Street and Kiwanis Avenue Friday night.

Law enforcement, fire rescue and an ambulance were dispatched to the business at the corner of Russell and Kiwanis at 10:45 p.m. Friday night. Officers put up crime scene tape at the location.

Upon arrival, responding officers found a woman with a stab wound. Officials say she has since died as a result of her injuries.

Police say the investigation is ongoing. The name of the victim isn’t being released at this time.
