PARKER, S.D. (KELO) — Authorities in Turner County say one person was detained in connection to a threat made about the Parker School.

The sheriff’s office says it learned about the threat on Thursday. Officials say a person allegedly threatened to throw an explosive device at the homecoming parade.

At this time, the Turner County Sheriff’s Office believes there is no danger to the public, school, or parade.

The incident is under investigation.
