Oglala Sioux Tribe Department of Public Safety announces 72-hour lockdown

We are following developing news on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation.

Monday afternoon, the Oglala Sioux Tribe Department of Public Safety announced a 72-hour lockdown.

According to a Facebook post, all businesses and borders are now closed. It says all traffic will be stopped and only emergency workers can get through.

The county has had 99 positive COVID-19 tests. There are currently 45 active cases.
