SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Flags across South Dakota will be flying at half-staff in honor of victims of the Highland Park, Illinois 4th of July shooting.

Governor Kristi Noem made the announcement Wednesday following a proclamation from President Joe Biden that flags at the White House would fly at half-staff.

The flags will remain at half-staff statewide until sunset on Sunday, July 9.
