Nancy Halverson Named First CEO Of Levitt At The Falls

Levitt at the Falls announced its first leader on Friday morning. 

Nancy Halverson will lead the preparations for the outdoor music venue at Falls Park West, which is set to debut in 2019.

Halverson has served as the President and CEO of The Children’s Museum of the Upstate, the seventh largest children’s museum in the country, located in Greenville, South Carolina since 2008. Halverson is returning to Sioux Falls, where she was the founder and former Executive Director of The Children’s Theatre Company of Sioux Falls. Her husband, Bruce, was President of Augustana College from 2000 to 2006.  

Halverson will begin her new role on Aug. 15. 

Levitt at the Falls will have its first free outdoor concert on Aug. 3 at the 8th & Railroad Center. Paul Thorn and the Blind Boys of Alabama will perform.
