SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) –Several injuries were reported from a two-vehicle head-on collision on Interstate 90 Thursday night. 

The crash happened just before 6:30 p.m. in the construction zone near one of the Hartford exits.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol says a Jeep was in a construction zone when the driver lost control on the bridge. The Jeep then crossed the center line and crashed into a pickup.

The 14-year-old driver of the Jeep has life-threatening injuries. Four other people have serious injuries, but are expected to survive.

Law enforcement closed part of I-90 for more than three hours.
