Missouri State Patrol Investigating 116 Leads In South Dakota Woman’s Death

Local News

New leads keep coming in to Missouri authorities, but there are still no arrests.

It’s been three weeks since someone shot and killed Melissa Peskey.  The Sioux Falls realtor was driving through Missouri with her children in December.  Authorities say someone outside her car shot her in the head.  She died, but her children survived.

The Missouri State Patrol tells KELOLAND News they are now up to 116 leads.  That includes dozens of new tips in the last week.

Investigators are still working to determine whether it was a random crime or if someone was specifically targeting Peskey.
