LINCOLN COUNTY, S.D. (KELO) — The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office and the South Dakota Highway Patrol responded to a rural bean field near Hudson on Friday at 7 a.m. for a medical helicopter that had landed after experiencing mechanical issues.

There were no patients on board and no crew members were injured. After a controlled landing, the aircraft was fixed at the scene and was able to fly away a couple of hours later.
