Local Authorities To Assist Secret Service In Trump's Visit

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - We are one day away from KELOLAND'S presidential visit but as of now very few details have been released.

What we do know at this point is that he is coming for an invitation only event that's a part of Krist Noem's campaign.

People attending this event will pay $500 per person to get in and hear President Trump speak.

Or you can pay $5,000 which includes a photo with the President.

Although the President won't be here until Friday, the city is doing a lot today to get ready.
Law enforcement officials are preparing for the special arrival.

"Obviously the Secret Service is in charge so we are assisting them along with the Minnehaha County Sheriff's office, Highway Patrol, I believe the DCI is giving some assistance as well," Public Information Officer Sam Clemens said.

And it's not just law enforcement who's going to have all hands on deck.

Here at KELOLAND News, we'll have news crews covering the President's visit.

All the way from when Air Force One lands in Sioux Falls to when it leaves.
