Less money proposed for parks in Sioux Falls

Local News

Sioux Falls Mayor Paul TenHaken is proposing less money for parks in the 2020-2024 capital improvements program.

KELOLAND’s Dan Santella is talking with city officials about the numbers.

The mayor’s office tells KELOLAND News that the main reason there is less money in the 2020-2024 CIP for parks is because more money is set to go to roads. The 2020 proposed budget has less money going to the Great Plains Zoo as well.
