It’s going to be another long night for people with homes and businesses around Lake Poinsett.
The rain is coming down, and the wind has picked up sending massive waves crashing into homes and cabins.
The owner at Lake Poinsett Estates Campground tells us the waves are so strong, that they’re moving a wall on his property.
The area has been dealing with flooding for weeks, and water levels haven’t dropped much.
He tells us each time the winds pick up, property owners brace for more damage.
Crews from Codington County had leftover sandbags and had them hauled in to help with sandbagging efforts to try and protect shorelines.
