Keller Williams Realty Sets Up College Fund For Peskey Children

Colleagues of murdered Sioux Falls realtor, Melissa Peskey, are raising funds to help her children.

People who worked with Peskey at Keller Williams Realty have set up a college scholarship fund for 11-year-old Charlee and 5-year-old Axton. They hope to raise $25,000 in the first few weeks of this fundraiser and continue to raise money throughout the years so the chldren have funds when they go to college. 

There will be nearly 40 Keller Williams offices region-wide who will be taking part in the fundraiser.

Melissa Merchant says that her friend and co-worker Mellissa Peskey always cared for others and now this is a way for them to care for her children.

Peskey was shot and killed while driving on Interstate 70 in Missouri between Kansas City and St. Louis on Thursday, December 13th. Missouri authorities say they have recieved more than 100 leads in the case, but so far no arrests have been made. 

Peskey’s two children were in the car with her when she was killed, but they were not hurt.
