SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Brighter days are ahead for area kids ready for camp, but it’s going to take a lot of clean-up first.
Keller Williams Realty Sioux Falls employees are at Leif Ericson Day Camp. On-going flooding has heavily damaged the grounds.
On Thursday, the employees are cleaning trails, laying down wood chips, and making sure everything is ready to go for next month’s opening.
“It definitely has a lot more mud here this year, but the water levels have gone down quite a bit. We’re hoping we can make a great impact,” Patrick Showers, CEO of Keller Williams Realty Sioux Falls, said.
We’re talking with the camp director and Keller Williams employees about why this is important, later Thursday on KELOLAND News.
